Endorsements: A Reflection of My Commitment to Our Community

To me, endorsements are sacred. I am not a politician, and this campaign has been a journey of learning—especially when it comes to endorsements. I’ve come to realize that organizations and individuals don’t always endorse the "best" candidate based solely on their character or vision. Instead, they often weigh other factors—how much money a candidate can raise, how their network might benefit the organization, or what strings might come attached.

Early on, I made the decision to be selective about the endorsements I sought. I wanted to showcase those that truly reflect my dedication to this role, my character, and most importantly, my love for our community. While the nonprofit community groups I support day in and day out are restricted from giving political endorsements, I carry their values and missions with me in everything I do. Each endorsement I highlight here is one I stand behind, because they represent not just support for me, but support for YOU and the future we can build together.

At the end of the day, this is about ensuring that YOU have the Salinas YOU deserve.
